- Archival Sound Recordings – the British Library’s digital archive of over 40,000 sound recordings (Access: Raven password required)
- Sound files at CHARM (Centre for the History and Analysis of Recorded Music) – with links to online sound resources (including almost 5000 sound files available on the CHARM web page)
- Cylinder Preservation and Digitization Project – UC Santa Barbara’s archive of 8,000 digitized cylinder recordings (Coverage: mid-1890s – mid-1920s) (Access: no password required)
- Film and Sound -> Culverhouse Classical Music Collection – collection of 50 hours of copyright-free classical music, covering much of the core repertoire plus rarer pieces from the 17th to the 20th centuries (Access: cam domain with Raven password for restricted materials only)
- Naxos Music Library – collection of over 630,000 tracks of music (Access: Naxos password required. Password available to registered members of the Pendlebury Library upon request at the Issue Desk)
