Subscription-based
- ebooks@cambridge – is the gateway to Cambridge University’s electronic books subscriptions. One can also search for e-books via LibrarySearch. A list of the available ebooks packages is also available at http://www.lib.cam.ac.uk/ebooks/packages.php.
- Cambridge Books Online contains some ebooks published by CUP (the quick search from front page also initially searches across all the e-journals).
- Cambridge Companions to Music – more than 50 books within this CUP series are available. [for off campus access via Raven: use http://linux02.lib.cam.ac.uk:2048/login?url=http://cco.cambridge.org/]
- Oxford Scholarship online contains several core texts published by OUP.

- E-Scholarship Editions – freely available e-books from University of California Press. Important music titles are on offer, including:
- Music as cultural practice / L. Kramer.
- Stravinsky and The Rite of Spring / P. C. van den Toorn.
- Music and Dance Reference database- with links to ebooks in the Community Texts collection, courtesy of the Internet Archive.
E-journals
- ejournals@cambridge inludes links and information to all University subscriptions (i.e. ejournals A-Z).
- Directory of Open Access Journals – gateway to over 3,300 open access e-journals
- JSTOR Archive: Music Journals – full-text digital archive of nearly 80 music journals (usually does not contain most recent years; nb: we do not have access to all journals archived on JSTOR)
- Project Muse – full-text digital archive of 380 humanities and social sciences journals (nb: there are 13 music journals we have access to).
- Hofmeister XIX - searchable online version of the Hofmeister Monatsberichte for the years 1829-1900.
- Gramophone Archive - free online access to all but the most current Gramophone issue.
- Music and dance reference contains a list of free electronic journals (Select “Electronic Journal” from the ‘Category’ pull-down menu and click on Search.)
