We're sorry not to be able to welcome you in person to the Faculty of Music this summer, but we're delighted to be taking part in the University of Cambridge Virtual Open Days this July and September 2021.

The Virtual Open Days will take place from 5-18 July, and 13-26 September 2021.

As part of the Virtual Open Days, you will find lots of resources on these pages, including a Course Introduction, Taster Lectures, videos made by our students about their experiences of studying music at Cambridge, and lots of information about performance opportunities.

In addition to pre-recorded resources, we will also be running two live Q&As on 8 and 9 July.

  • At 2pm on 8 July there will be a live Q&A session with our Performance Team, including Director of Performance, Maggie Faultless, and Chloe Davidson, Executive Director of the Cambridge University Musicical Society, to answer any questions you might have about music-making in Cambridge;
  • At 2pm on 9 July there will be a live Q&A session on Studying Music at Cambridge, with a panel of current students and academic staff, including 1684 Professor of Music, Katharine Ellis, and Director of Undergraduate Studies, Dr Sam Barrett.

Check back here from 5 July to access all our Open Day resources and links!

In the meantime, if you have any questions at all about the Virtual Open Days, please email outreach@mus.cam.ac.uk.
