The Cambridge Choral Experience

The Cambridge Choral Experience consists of two one-day choral workshops for  state-maintained school students from Years 7–11 and 12–13 that take place at the end of June. Participants work with Cambridge choral scholars to prepare four pieces in a SATB choir for a performance in a Cambridge chapel at the end of the course. In between rehearsals, participants tour Cambridge colleges, have lunch in a college, and attend talks on singing technique, life as a choral scholar, and applying to Cambridge. The event, including lunch and refreshments, is entirely free of charge.

The dates for the 2019 Cambridge Choral Experience are:

Saturday 22 June, 9.30am-6pm, for school years 7-10

Saturday 23 June, 9.30am-6pm, for school years 11-13

The application form is available here.
