JOB VACANCY: Assistant Concert Hall Manager

The Faculty of Music at the University of Cambridge is seeking to appoint an Assistant Concert Hall Manager for West Road Concert Hall, a 500-seat performance space integral to the Faculty. Hosting approximately 250 events p.a. (orchestral concerts, operas, ballet, recitals, recordings, conferences and broadcasts) this is an excellent opportunity for those looking for a career in arts administration.

The role holder will support the Concert Hall Manager, providing administrative support, acting as the first point of contact for all users of the hall, contracting with clients (generating turnover of approximately £400k pa) and supporting their events during the booking process.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills along with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
