JOB VACANCY: CMS Technician (Part Time)

The Faculty of Music at the University of Cambridge is seeking to appoint a Technician to support students and staff using the studio-based facilities of the Centre for Music and Science (CMS). The role holder will provide induction for all new users, surgery sessions for those wishing to explore more advanced use of the studio and support for research activity as required. The role holder will also produce "how to" guides allowing for independent use of the facilities and take responsibility for the organisation and general maintenance of CMS audio and recording equipment.

The successful candidate will have well developed customer service skills and will be experienced in supporting others in the use of digital audio systems and audio recording equipment.

This is a part-time position, term-time only. Please see the Further Information document for details.

Limited funding: The funds for this post are available until 30 September 2018 in the first instance.
