The Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship Internal Competition 2027 will open soon. The University of Cambridge provides matched funding for successful candidates through its Isaac Newton Trust. If you would like to apply through the University of Cambridge, please submit a draft application to the Faculty of Music by 12 noon on THURSDAY 22 OCTOBER 2026, UK time. Applications will initially be scrutinised by the Faculty but the final decision as to whether we can host your application will be made at University level. If you are successful in the University competitions, we shall ask you to commit to applying through Cambridge alone, and we will work with you to refine your application in advance of the national deadline in mid February 2027.
