The Taster Day scheduled for 21 March has unfortunately had to be cancelled in light of advice from Public Health England. We hope to hold another Taster Day later in year, and will post details on the website as soon as we are able to confirm.
Our Taster Days are free events that take place on a single day (from 11am to 4pm) in Cambridge and are provided for academically able students from non-fee-paying schools and colleges.
The events offer a taste of what life as a Music student at the University of Cambridge would be like. Students will experience the teaching methods used by university academics and gain an insight into the facilities available at the Faculty of Music, whilst meeting students from across the UK. Days may typically include two sample lectures, a tour of a college, and a talk about studying music at Cambridge including a Q and A session with current undergraduates.
We can provide travel bursaries and assist with finding accommodation for those travelling long distances.
