Dani Howard

***TO BE RESCHEDULED***

Dani Howard is a British composer and orchestrator who is quickly gaining international recognition for her orchestral writing, with regular performances across the UK, US, Europe and Asia. In June 2021 she received the premiere of her Trombone Concerto with acclaimed reviews “an instant classic… lush… riveting…” (The Times) - with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and soloist Peter Moore, which subsequently won a RPS Award in the Large-scale Composition category. Since graduating from the Royal College of Music in 2015, she has been commission by, and/or had works performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra, NYOGB, NCPA Orchestra of China, City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, Orquestra Clássica da Madeira, EUCO, Southbank Sinfonia among others. Often inspired by architecture and interdisciplinary collaborations, she was commissioned by the Antoni Gaudí building Casa Batlló (Barcelona) to compose an hour of orchestral music inspired by the many spaces inside. She looks forward to working further in this area, alongside her concert works.
