Featured repertoire – Beethoven Coriolan Overture
Ben Glassberg graduated from Girton College in 2015 and then went on to study at The Royal Academy of Music. He
is already in great demand as an opera and symphonic conductor across Europe and further afield. This classwill be a fascinating opportunity for current Cambridge students to learn from and discuss with Ben how his technique and career have developed since his time at Cambridge.
The class will include work on conducting technique and gestures, and there will also be the opportunity to also discuss practical aspects of conducting itself and of being a freelance conductor, with all its joys and challenges.
