Schumann Piano Quartet in E flat major, Op. 47

His music, marked by a keen sensitivity to instrumental colour and texture, features in this hour-long programme alongside Bartók’s folklore-inspired pedagogical Duos and Schumann’s ever-popular Piano Quartet.
