Composers' Workshop: Erika Fox

Erika Fox was born in Vienna of Hungarian/ Romanian parents and arrived in London as a refugee from Nazi Austria in July 1939. She is a highly distinguished and proli c composer whose works have been featured at the South Bank Centre, the Almeida Theatre, the Hudders eld Festival and other major international festivals. Her chamber opera The Dancer Hotoke was nominated for an Olivier Award, and her work Shir has been featured on Channel 4.
