Jeremy Thurlow
Jeremy Thurlow is a composer, writer and pianist. His music has been described as ‘seductive, innovative, full of freshness’ by Henri Dutilleux. It has been performed by the BBC Philharmonic, Rolf Hind, the BBC Singers, Endymion, the Aronowitz Ensemble, Matthew Schellhorn, the Fitzwilliam String Quartet, James Macmillan, Peter Sheppard Skaerved, Sequitur (New York), Lesley-Jane Rogers, Curious Chamber Players Stockholm, Zoe Martlew, Daniel Propper, Charles Mutter, Kevin Bowyer, Simon Smith and Adrian Bradbury among many others. In 2007 he won the George Butterworth Award for new composition. Jeremy is Director of Music at Robinson College, and teaches Composition and Analysis at the Music Faculty.
