Nicholas Cleobury Conducting Masterclass

Nicholas Cleobury makes his annual visit to the Faculty of Music to work on Stravinsky's Petrushka, giving the pianists the chance to play and be coached on the superb arrangement for two pianos, and conductors the opportunity to learn how to conduct this iconic work.

There are seven fabulous Practising Performance events this term, and, by popular request, three of these are conducting masterclasses. The conducting classes are also open to pianists and others, ideal opportunities to develop repetiteur skills that are essential in the music profession. All this term’s classes are open to the public.
