Sian Edwards Conducting Masterclass

We welcome Sian Edwards, Head of Conducting at the Royal Academy of Music, to work on another iconic work, Mozart's Requiem. This class is for string quartet (pre-formed or individuals), a pianist, and conductors – all of whom will be required to sing when not playing/conducting. This is a remarkable opportunity to get inside the piece as a performer and/or choral conductor.

There are seven fabulous Practising Performance events this term, and, by popular request, three of these are conducting masterclasses. The conducting classes are also open to pianists and others, ideal opportunities to develop repetiteur skills that are essential in the music profession. All this term’s classes are open to the public.
