Tim Watts: Kepler’s Trial (premiere)

The 17th-century witch-craze is evoked through music, theatre and video in this new opera by Cambridge-based composer Tim Watts (1), which draws on fresh research to tell the story of renowned astronomer, Johannes Kepler and his defense of his mother.
