We are pleased to announce that Dr Joseph Mason will be joining the Faculty for two years from 1 January 2025 to take up the position of Assistant Professor in Early Music. Joe is a historical musicologist specialising in vocal music in medieval Europe. His current research focuses on the songs of the trouvères, poet-composers active in Northern France in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries.
