The Music Faculty is delighted to hear that recent music alumnus, Michael Buchanan, has been awarded First Prize and the Audience Prize in the prestigious International ARD Music Competition held in Munich.
The 64th ARD International Music Competition 2015 is held for the categories of trombone, flute, voice and piano duo. For the trombone semi-finals Michael played with the Munchener Kammerorchester; and for the finals with the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks.
