We are delighted to announce the release of ‘Boethius: Songs of Consolation’, on the Glossa Label. This new disc is the extraordinary result of a long-term collaboration between the Faculty of Music's Reader in Early Medieval Music, Dr Sam Barrett, and internationally-renowned ensemble Sequentia, under the direction of Benjamin Bagby, to reconstruct a repertory lost for over 1,000 years.
