Performing Lost Songs Longlisted for NCCPE Engage Award

The Faculty of Music project ‘Performing Lost Songs of the Middle Ages’ has been longlisted for an NCCPE Engage Award for public engagement with research.

The project was run by Dr Sam Barrett in collaboration with Sequentia – a three-piece professional group of experienced performers of Medieval Music. Through workshops together, and with other Medieval music performers, they were able to piece together melodies of works not heard for 1000 years.

Congratulations to Dr Barrett. You can find out more about the project here.
