Selvedge, an orchestral work which was initially written through the Hartley Rodgers King's College/CBSO Scholarship here at Cambridge, has just been shortlisted for performance by the British section for next year's ISCM Festival in Romania. The ISCM Festival is a prestigious international festival for new music which features recent pieces from around the world which has been running since 1923, hosted in a different country each year.
Selvedge was previously awarded first prize at the 2023 Toru Takemitsu Composition Award, and was originally written with the support of the CBSO Hartley Rodgers Scholarship at Cambridge University.
