Dr Paul Wingfield, Fellow and Director of Studies in Music at Trinity College, has helped to identify an 1894 German violin as having belonged to Einstein. Read his own account of how he came to do so on the Faculty's research blog.
The instrument was auctioned by Dominic Winter Auctioneers in Cirencester on October the 8th.
