In addition to being Director of Performance, in Cambridge, Maggie is Head of Historical performance at the Royal Academy of Music and a co-leader of the Orchestra of the age of Enlightenment
Rachel Stroud is a baroque violinist and musicologist, and recently completed a Ph.D. at King's College, Cambridge, exploring issues of notation and performance in Beethoven's late string quartets.

As well as the Collegium ensemble, there is a University viol consort run by Fretwork’s Emily Ashton. The group meets regularly to rehearse and perform, coached by a variety of highly experienced professional players. Please contact Emily for more information.
