Sutton Trust Summer Schools are open to students in Year 12 in England or Wales, Year 13 in Northern Ireland, or S5 in Scotland, who attend, and have always attended, a state-funded school or college (non-fee paying) in the UK.

The Sutton Trust Music Summer School offers the opportunity for you to broaden your musical horizons. The course aims to introduce you to key areas covered in most higher education music courses. This includes areas that may well be new to you, for example, Ethnomusicology and Music and Science. Through a mixture of lectures, supervisions and practical workshops, students will experience a taste of the variety of topics on offer at University. There may also be opportunities to develop your performance and composition skills in a relaxed and informal context.
