Faculty of Music

Tuesday, 23 January 2018
2.00pm, Recital Room at the Faculty of Music

Joe Cutler

Joe Cutler's music has been described as ‘propulsive’ (BBC Music Magazine), ‘alluring’ (Scotsman), ‘neurotic’ (Re-Diffusion) and ‘the best thing to come out of Neasden since Twiggy’ (Gramophone). Currently Head of Composition at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Joe will talk about his new and recent work.

The Faculty’s series of Composers’ Workshops is open to students in all years of the undergraduate music course, as well as masters and doctoral students, indeed anyone with an interest in the creation of new music. Because space is limited, please email Richard Causton (rjc94@cam.ac.uk) if you are not a Faculty member and wish to attend.
