Peter Donohoe: Piano Masterclass

We are extremely lucky that as part of his visit to Cambridge, Peter Donohoe (4) has agreed to take a Practising Performance piano masterclass. In the years since his success as Silver Medal winner at the 7th International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow in 1982, Peter Donohoe has built an extraordinary worldwide career, encompassing a huge repertoire as well as continually exploring many other avenues in music-making. He is acclaimed as one of the foremost pianists of our time, for his musicianship, stylistic versatility and commanding technique. This class will undoubtedly be an extraordinary experience.

The Faculty’s Practising Performance Series is open to students in all years of the undergraduate music course as well as masters and doctoral students, and, others with an interest in performance. For more information about these events, please visit the Faculty of Music website (music2.migrate.drupal.uis.cam.ac.uk), and if you would like to participate please contact Margaret Faultless, Director of Performance, at mf413@cam.ac.uk.
