Cambridge alumni Kate Whitley and Christopher Stark took the Multi-Story Orchestra, which also features many Faculty alumni, to new heights on 3 September with their first BBC Prom. A Prom with a difference, however, which was part of the BBC's alternative venue series and was broadcast live from a multi storey car park in Peckham. The orchestra played three pieces by American composer Steve Reich which seemed at home in the unconventional urban auditorium with the occasional train rumbling past.
The Prom attracted several five star reviews:
