Subject Masterclasses are subject-specific events that offer students in Year 12 (S5 for Scotland, Year 13 for NI, or equivalent) the chance to experience typical undergraduate teaching at the University of Cambridge, and to learn more about a topic of interest. The events are designed for students looking to apply in October 2024, including mature students.

This Music Subject Masterclass will be delivered in-person at the Faculty of Music by academic staff and current students from the Department of Music. Attending this Masterclass will provide high-achieving students with the opportunity to learn more about Music at the University of Cambridge, including course content, structure, career paths, and the admissions process.

The Subject Masterclass will include:
•    two taster sessions delivered by leading academic staff from the University
•    the opportunity to ask questions
•    an introduction to the Cambridge admissions process
•    the opportunity to hear about life as a Cambridge student from current undergraduates
